Playing around with Wolframalpha: Coronavirus

Wikipedia defines Wolframalpha as follows:

WolframAlpha (also styled Wolfram|Alpha) is a computational knowledge engine[4] or answer engine developed by Wolfram Alpha LLC, a subsidiary of Wolfram Research. It is an online service that answers factual queries directly by computing the answer from externally sourced "curated data",[5] rather than providing a list of documents or web pages that might contain the answer as a search engine might.[6]

So it says that it answers factual queries directly. Where Google is good for finding out about normal subjects like the news, wolframalpha lends it's focus on facts.

If you would like to take a small tour of the features, you can go to it's Tour Page which shows a host of fields where the site helps.

Let's see what it has to say about the corona virus (COVID-19)

It neatly tells you about various facts such as

In one simple page, it provides information about the nature of the disease (viral), where it was first discovered (Wuhan), basic reproduction number (the expected number of cases directly generated by one case in a population) , ways of prevention as well as the common symptoms.
